Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Tom Hiddleston & Benedict Cumberbatch as Uni flatmates.

i’m in such a love-hate relationship with glen rock.

it’s a ridiculous suburban town with nothing but a big rock and people with egos to match it, but sometimes all i need is to sit by the train tracks and just breathe.

Guys, please, if any of you live in NJ in the essex county area….

A boy who lives down the street from me has gone missing. I’m not very close to the family, so I don’t have a picture, but we’ve been told that he’s dressed in all black. He’s about 5’5” and he’s a high school student.

I know it isn’t much to go off of, but the family is so nice and they’re worried sick.

If you could help, even the tiniest bit, I know they would be so grateful.

Nick: Let's call your hairdresser and tell him that you want to shave your head because your fame lies in your face

Harry: Ok

Nick: Let's call and convince Sam that I'm in love with you

Harry: Ok

Nick: Let's call your stylist and tell her you think Louis' let himself go

Harry: I can't say that, no

Nick:

Harry:

Nick:

Harry: Let's tell her I want golden crotchless tights instead

if i would stop being scared of everyone that’s better than me, that’d be great.

also if i could maybe stop feeling replaced every fucking second.

that’d be wonderful, too.

Oh my god I was at potted potter today!!! The lady who wiped out is my new hero...

ahaha, I know! ah man, my friend and i were sitting in the literal worst seats in the house (very back row, all the way to the left- they were still really good though, which is awesome) but we were crying laughing, it was hilaaaaarious! and the bit with the cards too, so funny, it was brilliant!

oh man

so i just saw Potted Potter, which, in case you were unaware, is a harry potter parody currently running in the little shubert theater in new york.

first off, if you’re one of the people who just think it’s a starkid knock-off, you’re wrong beyond belief because a.) it started before starkid was ever formed, in 2005 as a five minute street performance for people waiting for the midnight release of the sixth book, and then just evolved into a full fledged show after a number of years, and b.) it’s not a musical, and c.) even if it were, it’s so vastly different from avpm/avps it’s ridiculous, so hush.

second off, if you get the chance to see it, go see it. i swear, it’s great. dan and jeff, the writers and performers, are hilarious, and the concept itself, while typical (two guys trying to do a show about harry potter but everything going vastly wrong therefore amounting in a comedy show type performance), works so well in their favor. their dynamic was familiar and comfortable, and their material had me doubled over in stitches laughing for nearly seventy percent of the show.

and the bit of audience interaction that they had wasn’t cheesy, like some shows, but was genuinely hilarious. during the audience quidditch match, a woman went to shoot and completely wiped out, and the whole audience was crying laughing, herself included, and it became a running joke for the rest of the show. a large amount of it is ad-libbed, and that made it all the better.

it’s watching two funny guys banter with each other about harry potter for an hour and a half, and while it might not be the perfect harry potter parody you’re looking for, it’s still pretty damn funny, and a great show by two great guys.
